Who This Journey Is For

You want Rajasthan done
properly — not quickly.

🏛

First-time visitors to Rajasthan

You've seen the photos. You want the version that goes past the surface — the stories behind the palaces, the families still living in them, the markets tourists miss.

🐅

Wildlife + culture seekers

You want a Bengal tiger at dawn and a rooftop palace dinner at dusk. Ranthambore and Rajasthan's royal cities belong on the same itinerary — and we know exactly how to sequence them.

🌅

Women travelling solo or in a group

Whether you're coming alone or with five friends, this journey is fully private. Your guide, your vehicle, your pace — and a 24/7 contact who knows your name.

October to March is ideal — temperatures are comfortable (10–25°C), skies are clear, and the desert is at its most beautiful. November catches Pushkar's Camel Fair. April–June is very hot (45°C+) but manageable if you plan around it. July–September is monsoon season — parts of Rajasthan are stunning in the green, but desert routes like Jaisalmer are less accessible.
Rajasthan is one of India's most visited states and well-set-up for travellers — but as with anywhere, context matters. With RoamRani, you travel with a vetted guide, police-verified drivers, and pre-screened accommodation throughout. Our 24/7 in-country contact knows your itinerary and location at all times. Hundreds of solo women have travelled Rajasthan with us without incident — and more importantly, with confidence.
Absolutely not. Every itinerary is built around what interests you. A first visit might cover Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur in 7–8 days — that alone is extraordinary. Jaisalmer and the desert are a wonderful extension if you have more time. Ranthambore, Pushkar and Bikaner suit travellers who want wildlife or deeper off-the-beaten-track experiences. We'll recommend the right combination during your free consultation call.
Yes — and it's one of our most popular combinations. Starting with our Golden Triangle signature journey (Delhi, Agra, Jaipur) and then continuing into Rajasthan creates a natural, incredibly satisfying route across India's most iconic north. We handle the entire logistics from your first city to your last.
We specifically seek out heritage havelis, boutique palace guesthouses, and family-run heritage properties — not international chains. Sleeping in a converted Maharaja's palace or a 200-year-old merchant's haveli is part of the experience, not a luxury add-on. All accommodation is pre-screened for female travellers: room security, neighbourhood safety, and staff conduct are assessed before we book anything.
