About RoamRani
Who We Are
Samarth and Chetna are not travel agents. They are two people from New Delhi who have spent their lives deeply inside India — its roads, its rhythms, its extraordinary capacity to continually surprise you.
Samarth has spent over a decade building travel experiences across India. He knows its heritage hotels and its hidden villages, its best guides and its worst tourist traps. He has the ground relationships that take years to build and cannot be replicated overnight.
Chetna has traveled solo across India with the quiet confidence of someone who knows her country. She is curious, independent, and unafraid. She is also the reason RoamRani exists.
The Night That Changed Everything
RoamRani was born from a single question Chetna couldn't stop asking after a frightening solo cab ride in her own city — one that left her unable to book a cab alone for weeks afterward.
"If this can happen to me here — what must it feel like for a woman traveling India from the other side of the world?"
Samarth heard that question. They built the answer together.
What We Built & Why
Most travel companies are built around destinations. RoamRani was built around a person — the solo woman traveler who wants to experience India fully, deeply, and on her own terms, without the weight of uncertainty that no guidebook can truly prepare you for.
We started with what we knew. Samarth's decade of India travel expertise. A TripAdvisor reputation built on 450+ five-star reviews. Ground relationships with female guides, vetted drivers, and women-forward luxury accommodations across the Golden Triangle and beyond.
Then we built what was missing. A travel experience where every single decision — every hotel, every guide, every transfer, every briefing — is made with one question in mind: Would we put someone we love in this situation?
The answer, every time, has to be yes. That standard is non-negotiable. It is, quite literally, why we exist.
What We Believe
India is extraordinary.
We believe India is one of the most extraordinary destinations on earth. We also believe that extraordinary experiences require extraordinary preparation — and that preparation, done properly, is an act of respect for the traveler, not a sign of fear.
Solo travel changes you.
The version of yourself that navigates a country alone — makes decisions alone, gets lost and found alone, sits with the silence of a Himalayan dawn entirely alone — that version is someone worth meeting.
You deserve a team that's walked ahead.
Every woman who wants to meet that version of herself in India deserves a team that has already walked every step of the path ahead of her. That is what we are here to be.
Our Promise
We listen first.
No template itineraries. Every journey begins with a conversation about who you are and what you're looking for — not what's most convenient to sell.
We curate without compromise.
Every guide, driver, hotel, and experience is vetted specifically for a solo woman traveler. Not generally good. Specifically right.
We stay with you.
From the moment you land to the moment you leave, you have a real person — not a helpline, not a chatbot — who knows your name, your itinerary, and your emergency contact.
We brief you honestly.
Before you travel, we tell you everything. What to wear, what to expect, what to do if something feels wrong. Knowledge is the foundation of confidence.
We never outsource your safety.
Every driver, guide, and hotel on your journey is personally vetted by us. We do not hand you to a third party and walk away. Your safety is our responsibility — entirely, every time.
We build journeys we'd give to someone we love.
That is the only standard we have ever used. It is the only one that matters.
"India gave us a question we couldn't ignore. RoamRani is our answer — built in New Delhi, offered to the world, for every woman who deserves to experience this country the way it deserves to be experienced."
