Who This Journey Is For
🏔️
The adventure seeker
You want high-altitude roads, Khardung La, remote valley campsites, and landscapes that make you feel small in the best possible way. Leh-Ladakh and Spiti were made for you.
🙏
The seeker of stillness
Dharamshala's monastery bells at dawn, Spiti's 1,000-year-old gompa, the silence above the snowline. You're here to slow down and feel something real.
🌿
The nature-first traveller
Pangong Lake at dawn, Manali's apple orchards, Nainital's mist-wrapped hills. You travel for landscapes, not landmarks — and the Himalayas deliver them in every direction.
💑
Couples seeking something extraordinary
Watching Pangong Lake change colour at dawn or spending a night under Spiti's stars is the kind of experience that recalibrates a relationship. Remote enough to feel truly together.
Sample 10-Day Itinerary
Every itinerary is fully customised — this is one we love. Shorter options (Leh only), longer options (adding Kashmir or Nainital) all available.
Leh
Arrive in Leh (3,500m) and take it slow — your body needs time to adjust. Check into your hotel and rest. Your guide will brief you on altitude, what to watch for, and why today is simply about being here. In the evening, take a gentle walk through the old town market at your own pace.

Start early at Thiksey Monastery, best experienced at sunrise when the chants echo through the halls. Continue to Hemis Monastery, one of the region's most important spiritual centres. End the day at Shanti Stupa at golden hour. Throughout, your guide shares not just the history, but the living traditions — the monks, the rituals, the rhythm of daily life.
Leh → Nubra Valley
Drive across Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world (5,359m). The air is thin, the landscape vast. Descend into Nubra Valley — a striking contrast of sand dunes, green patches, and distant mountains.
Nubra Valley
Visit Diskit Monastery, where the towering Maitreya Buddha overlooks the valley and apricot orchards below. Enjoy lunch with a local family — simple, warm, and personal. In the evening, settle into your boutique camp. The sky here is something else — clear, vast, and filled with more stars than you expect.
Nubra → Pangong Lake
Drive towards Pangong Lake via the Shyok River valley. Arrive before the crowds. Your camp sits right by the water — spend the afternoon watching the lake shift colours as the light changes, from turquoise to deep blue to violet.
Pangong → Leh
Wake early — just before sunrise, when the lake is still and silent. The mountains slowly turn pink, and everything feels paused. Drive back to Leh via Chang La. Optional stop at Druk White Lotus School along the way.
Leh → Spiti Valley
Begin the journey towards Spiti Valley — the landscape grows more dramatic with every hour. Barren mountains, deep gorges, and a terrain that feels almost unreal. Arrive in Kaza, your base for the next two nights.
Full Spiti Valley guide →Spiti Valley
Visit Key Monastery, perched high above the valley — over 1,000 years old and still active. Continue to Komic, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Stop at Chicham Bridge, suspended dramatically over a deep gorge.
Spiti → Manali / Dharamshala
Descend towards Manali or Dharamshala — your choice. The shift is immediate — pine forests, warmer air, and greenery after days of high desert. Dinner with a view of a valley that suddenly feels full of life.
Full Dharamshala guide →Manali / Departure
Take a quiet morning walk along the Beas River or visit Hadimba Devi Temple set within deodar forests. Private transfer to Chandigarh or Delhi for your onward journey — and a trip that's far more vivid in memory than it ever is in photos.

What's Included
🏔️
Day 1 in Leh is always a rest day. We brief every traveller on altitude sickness before departure, and our ground team always has supplemental oxygen available.
🚐
Mountain roads demand 4WD. Your driver knows every pass and every village stop worth making — and when conditions change, so does the route.
🧭
Guides who know the monasteries' rhythms, speak the local dialect, and can get you into places not listed in any guidebook or app.
📋
Inner Line Permits for restricted zones (Nubra, Pangong, Spiti) — all arranged in advance. Nothing left to the last minute at a government office.
🏕️
Carefully chosen properties where acclimatisation is prioritised — no draughty guesthouses at 4,000m. Camp on Pangong's shore, stay in a Spiti homestay.
📞
One call away, always. If a pass closes or a flight shifts, we reroute — not you. A real person who knows your name and your itinerary.
What Travellers Say
"The Ladakh trip was beyond anything I imagined. Our guide arranged for us to attend a monastery festival that wasn't on any tourist itinerary. Standing there watching monks perform centuries-old rituals — completely unrepeatable."
"I was nervous about altitude but they briefed me perfectly before I left, paced the itinerary sensibly, and had oxygen at hand just in case. Pangong Lake at 5am with nobody else there — I still can't believe I was there."
"Spiti Valley changed how I think about travel. No crowds, no noise — just ancient monasteries and a valley that looks painted. The local family lunch in Komic village was the highlight of my entire India trip."
