Plain English summary
All cancellations must be made in writing — email hello@roamrani.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written notice.

Refunds are processed within 14 working days of cancellation confirmation, to the original payment method.
Your 30% deposit is fully refundable if you cancel 60 days or more before departure. For cancellations within 60 days, the deposit is counted as part of the cancellation fee structure above — not charged separately.
Life happens. If you need to cancel due to a serious personal emergency — a medical diagnosis, a family bereavement, or another genuine crisis — contact us directly and we will discuss your situation individually.
We do not guarantee exceptions, but we do guarantee a human conversation. We will not hide behind policy language in a genuine emergency.
Events outside either party's reasonable control — including natural disasters, civil unrest, pandemics, government-imposed travel bans, or terrorism — are treated as force majeure. In these cases:
If you need to leave your trip early — for personal reasons, illness, or an emergency at home — we will do everything we can to help you depart safely and as quickly as possible.
Refunds for unused portions of a trip are not automatic: they depend on costs already committed to accommodation providers and guides. We will calculate and communicate any applicable refund within 14 days of your return.
This is exactly why travel insurance with trip interruption cover is required for all our journeys.
We very rarely cancel a confirmed trip. In the event that we must — due to force majeure, safety concerns in your destination, or an event entirely outside our control — we will:
We will never cancel a trip for commercial reasons — only for safety or circumstances genuinely beyond our control.
If you want to change your dates, destination, or itinerary rather than cancel entirely, this is treated as an amendment — not a cancellation. We will do our best to accommodate changes without additional fees where supplier costs allow.

Travel insurance is required for all RoamRani journeys. Proof of cover must be provided before departure.
Email hello@roamrani.com with your booking reference and the reason for cancellation. We will confirm receipt within 24 hours and process your refund (if applicable) within 14 working days.
Please do not cancel by WhatsApp only — written email confirmation is required to start the refund process.
